The Association of World Citizens (awcunited.org) stresses that the flowering of culture is an important response to major world challenges such as the need for a sense of direction. Today, cultural renewal, mutual help, and cooperation are needed for culture on a world scale to flourish. Culture is a fundamental part of the life of each individual and each community. Your participation in this cultural adventure is most welcome!

Rene Wadlow, President, Association of World Citizens.

World Citizen Diplomacy: Appeals and Analysis.

People who develop the habit of thinking of themselves as world citizens are fulfilling the first requirements of sanity in our times.

In this period of world transformations, independent voices are needed, to warn, to highlight the need for cooperative action and to propose measures for the peaceful resolution of disputes. On behalf of world citizens, the Association of World Citizens, which has consultative status with the United Nations, issues Appeals for UN action and measures to be taken by individual governments, multilateral institutions and non-governmental organizations. These World Citizen Diplomacy Appeals aim to reduce violence, protect human rights, and to create bridges between cultures.
